New Classes

Short Timing
Inmates on their way out of prison show reactionary behaviors that are often self-destructive, even when they've been model prisoners for years. Our system does little to prepare inmates for re-entering society as productive citizens, and most prisoners know they will return to the same environment they left with little opportunity, support, or financial possibilities for a new lifestyle. Those returning to children who've been living without their parenting for a number of years are particularly susceptible to panic and depression.

Truth Be Told was approached by a warden to create a course for women who will leave prison in nine months or less. This is now an ongoing part of our curriculum.
